Terms of service.
Refunds/returns on livestream items - Due to nature of our business the criteria for refunds is very specific. In the event you wish to request a refund or return an item due to it being broken, not as described, or having a fault, we may refund you. For purchases made on items relevant to our live streams we can only give you a refund if it is before the item has been opened/revealed. Once the item has been opened or revealed no matter what it is we cannot issue a refund as it no longer the original item we sell.
Refunds/returns for non livestream items - In the event we sell you an item that is not a part of our rip and ship live streams refunds and returns are a lot more simple. If the item has been damaged during shipping, has a fault, or is not as described we may issue a refund upon return. If the item is still in its original state that we sold it to you we may issue a return and refund. Items that wish to be returned or refunded must be done so within 30 days of purchase. If the item has been opened, damaged, or impacted in anyway by you we may not issue a refund unless under special circumstance. If a return/refund inquiry has been received by us 30 days after the original purchase we will most likely not refund you due to the nature of our business.
Refunds/returns for pre ordered items - In the event you wish to refund an item that has been pre ordered you must meet our criteria. If you wish to a return an item due to it being damaged, not as described, or faulty, a member of our staff will assess whether we can issue a refund or exchange the item for a new one. To do so please contact us at ‘Theferntcg@gmail.com’ or through one of our contact forms. We will require the name of the product, the date it was purchased, an image of the product, and your contact details if we need to follow up further. We will not issue refunds for pre ordered items if it is within 14 days of the release date. This is due to our suppliers also having not refund policies.
The New Zealand commerce commission Refunds and returns - A product or service you buy is faulty or not of an acceptable quality, you may be able to get a repair, replacement or refund.
Whether you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund will depend on a few things:
the types of product or service you are buying
what you are using the product for
what you were told about the product or service
how you paid
whether you bought them from a business or a private seller.
What happens if I buy something and it turns out faulty?
The Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) says that products should:
be of acceptable quality
be fit for a particular purpose
arrive on time and in good condition
match the description, sample or demonstration.
If there is a fault with the product, there are options available to you.
Minor fault
If it is a minor fault, the retailer can choose to replace or repair the item, or give you a refund, and they must do so in a reasonable time.
Substantial fault
If it is a substantial fault and can't be fixed in a reasonable time, for example, a phone that won't call or a laptop that keeps crashing, you can ask for a cash refund.
If it is a more serious issue, for example it can't be fixed easily or is unsafe, you can cancel the contract of service and refuse to pay for the work done. If you have already paid you may be able to get some or all of your money back.

What if I change my mind?
The retailer is not required to give you a cash refund if you have changed your mind about a purchase, but they might swap the item or give you a store credit. Check the store's return policy before you buy.
If you are buying something as a gift, it may be a good idea to ask for an exchange card.
